Light and Salt Association is a government-registered 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. Its mission is to unite the manpower and resources of the Houston Chinese community, regardless of denomination or ethnicity, to care for and serve the poor and disadvantaged. The establishment of Light and Salt Association is inspired by the biblical teaching: "You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world..." (Matthew 5:13-16).Our purpose is to combine the human resources and resources of the Houston Chinese community to care for and take care of those in need in the Houston area. Our vision is for individuals, families and communities to be filled with peace and joy and life with hope.
